Mouna NACEF got her PhD in Industrial Chemistry from 8 Mai 1945 Guelma University, Algeria in 2012. Now, she is a full Professor in 8 Mai 1945 Guelma University. Mouna Nacef currently works at the Department of Process Engineering, Université 8 Mai 1945 Guelma, Algeria. She is a member of Laboratoire d'Analyses Inductrielles et Génie des Matériaux (LAIGM). Mouna does research in Catalysis, Alcohols electrooxidation, Thermodynamics and Environmental Chemistry. Her current project is the elaboration of sensors for various chemical compounds and the adsorption of organic pollutants and heavy metals from aqueous solutions.
Electrochemical methods and techniques are used to charaterize materials, as well as TEM, EDX, AAS and FTIR.

My research interest was focused in the elaboration of new electrodes which could be used in multiple purposes, such as fuel cells, sensors for organique and inorganic chemicals, as well as for hydrogen production via water splitting.
