Terminal degree: PhD in American civilization

Ladi Toulgui has a multidisciplinary academic background with degrees in English, American studies and American civilization. He has been teaching at the university for more than 30 years (Université Les Frères Mentouri/Constantine from 1985 to 1999 and Université 8 Mai 1945/ Guelma from 1999 to present). He held different academic positions, such as head of department, associate dean,  and Department Scientific Committee Chair.  He currently serves as Chair for the Faculty Scientific Council. He is an alumnus of the USIA International Visitor Program (IVP), USA. His research interests focus on US/UK history and political institutions, race and ethnicity, minority (African American) studies, human rights/human trafficking, and research methodology.
