Biography and positions

Abdesselam Babouri is Full Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering at the University of Guelma, Algeria. He received a doctorate degree in Electronic from the University of Nancy, France in 2007. He has authored more than 50 papers in international journal or conference proceedings. His main research interests are Electromagnetic compatibility, sensor networks and biomedical application, VLC, clinical evaluation of pacemaker systems and arrhythmia problems.

Mes travaux de recherche s’articulent auteur des deux thèmes principaux suivants :

Thème 1 : Compatibilité électromagnétique

Dans cette thématique nous avons orientés nos recherches vers deux axes principaux :

Etude de la compatibilité électromagnétique des implants médicaux
Etude de risque généré par les lignes Haute Tension

L'objectif scientifique est la maîtrise des nouvelles techniques de mesure et de modélisations analytiques et Numériques.

Sur le plan technologique :

Mise en place d'une plate forme CEM permettant d'étudier le comportement et la caractérisation des lignes Haute tension.

Deux thèses de doctorat (une thèse classique et une thèse LMD) soutenues et trois thèses en cours dans cette thématique
Trois projet ont été effectués dans cette thématique, Un projet PNR (2011-2013) et deux Projet CNEPRU 2009-2012 et 2014-2016

Thème 2 : Systèmes biomédicaux

Dans ce thème notre objectif est d’aller vers le développement du secteur de la santé en Algérie.

Les axes de recherches développées sont :

Système intelligent pour le monitoring des personnes prenant en compte les pathologies. (Sujet de thèse de doctorat sciences, soutenance prévue le 15/03/2019)
